I love small creative projects, whether it is designing or building.  In a world that says go big or go home, it's nice to throw a curve in it and say go small and slow down.  I built this over the course of a winter; slow and intentional; a thought behind every cut, every weld, every piece of tile or cedar shake installed.

This sauna was designed and built entirely to connect and unwind.  Let's face it, society, in general, is heading at a historically record breaking pace.   Sometimes, well, often, I get the deep feeling that we need to slow down and re-connect:  Connect with nature, our health, friends and family, our maker, our souls.  The practice of daily being grateful and intentional in our doings, and to slow down.
